  • Developed for first responders as a result of the 2001 United States biological attack using weaponized anthrax known as Amerithrax.

  • The US Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and L-3 Communications (Formerly Titan Corp) participated in the development of BIT™ for the purpose of neutralization of this hard to kill spore.

  • Binary Ionization Technology® and intellectual patents owned by TOMI™ including a prototype SteraMist® design was purchased from L-3 Communications in mid-2013.  TOMI™ entered its start-up phase including commercial fabrication and government registrations (EPA and FDA) granted in 2017 and is now currently available for commercial sale.
